As you'd expect, the Baptismal Shell has pride of place on the christening checklist. After all, it is the shell the priest uses to pour the water over the child's or baby's head. So we offer our Christening Shell in two different options:

• Natural Scallop Shell (12 cm to 14cm): these shells are full of colour, in brown and golden tones, and shaped like a fan. They are a symbol of Saint James the Great, worn by the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela. A traditional choice, full of charm.
  
• Mother-of-Pearl Shell (10cm to 12cm): these shells have a natural nacre coating, which gives them an incredible shine in silvery tones, for a wonderfully sophisticated look. A more modern choice.

Lastly, a little reminder that our shells are natural, they come from the sea. Which means you really won't find two the same – each one has its own size and details, made by nature. Once you've chosen the perfect shell for the christening, you have a whole range of bow colours to pick from, so you can match all your lovely christening accessories.
